Location: Old Chatham, a hamlet located in Columbia County, is one of the township's earliest settlements and was originally named Chatham. The heart of Old Chatham features several businesses, including the Old Chatham Country Store, a longstanding landmark in the village square. The Wilbor House, also known as The Thompson Farm, is a historic home in Old Chatham. Built around 1790, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
